Pricing explained

BeeTrack price is comprised of two elements, a fixed price per BeeTag and a software subscription fee. The BeeTag price is a one-time payment and the software fee is paid on a monthly basis. The monthly payment is calculated on the number of active BeeTags per month.

How to calculate your monthly payment

Let's say it's April. You currently have 1,800 hives and expect to grow that number to 2,000 colonies in August. Your monthly bill in April would be calculated like this:

1. Your first 500 hives will be covered by the fixed fee of $135
2. Your next 1,000 hives will be charged at $0.27 → 1,000 x $0.27= $270
3. The following 300 hives will be charged at $0.25 → 300 x $0.25= $75
4. Your total monthly payment in April would be= $135 + $260 + $75= $480

When August comes and you increase the number of hives to 2,000. Your monthly bill would be calculated like this:

1. Your first 500 hives will be covered by the initial $135 fee
2. Your next 1,000 hives will be charged at $0.27 → 1,000 x $0.27= $270
3. The following 500 hives will be charged at $0.25 → 500 x $0.25= $125
4. Your total monthly payment in April would be= $135 + $270 + $250= $530

If your number of hives decreases, so will your monthly bill. The minimum bill is $135 per month. The monthly bill will be charged to your credit card during the first 15 days following the month that is currently billed. For example, your April bill charge would come in the first 15 days of May. The number of hives used to calculate your April bill will be the total number of active tags (alive hives) in the system on the last day of April.
